Clayton Kershaw, He is real peace activist for his field!

 

 

Clayton Kershaw who is an ace pitcher in Los Angeles dodgers.
His pitching has already been proven among every pitchers in MLB.
The proof is that he won Cy Young Award which is one the most honorable prize in MLB.
Now, I want to introduce this guy.
He secretly performed good deeds
but many people already know that.
Even though he went on a honeymoon to Zambia
which is not welcomed as a destination of honeymoon.
In there, he met a orphan who got the AIDS
so Kershaw decided to found an orphanage in there, named 'Hope's home'.
The most famous donation about Kershaw is '1 strike out , 100 dollar'
many MLB fans were touched and they join with Kershaw's good deed.
Nowadays, we are not interested to see what is happening in other people, country.
There are so many conflicts and war and many people who desire peace.
Like a Kershaw did, we need an action for helping others and for peace

Every Person can be taken actions for Peace like Kershaw.
Kershaw! Please Keep throwing your ball to each closed heart of Person
who has no Passion for peace!

Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; It is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; It is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; It is the freshness of the deep springs of life.

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite, for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of sixty more than a boy of twenty. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.

Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, Fear, self-distrust, bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

Whether sixty or sixteen there is in every human being's heart the lure of wonder, the unfailing child-like appetite of what's next, and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station; so long as it receives massages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long are you young.

When the aerialsare down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at twenty, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch the waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at eighty.

IPYG, International Peace Youth Group
I worried about that if my age of life had passed from the past, I cannot join their historical movement.

Today I read a sentence included in Samuel's poem
I stare at a sentence 'Youth us not a time of life ; it is a state of mind '
It touched my mind and spirit. It brings a courage to my mind.

I want to look my candle at my mind, and give a bright for my candle of peace.
What fears should I throw away?
I found that My life is all wet by fears given of my self-esteem
If I have no fears forthe highest quality, My life will not be drowned like these days

I envy the passion of IPYG members to the worldpeace
Many Peace Activist declare movement for peace, but there is no outcome of activity
But IPYG members bring a hot mood for peace
They proves their self-esteem in convicted concept of life's essential

Behold! My Spirit awakened at this time! Making new days of future for our descendents!
Arise and Shine! Warrior of heartful Peace!

 

The Farm Volunteer_IPYG

The farm trip taken with the IPYG was a very fun experience. I wasn't sure what to expect since my Korean is very limited. I was surprised by the mixed group that went. It made for an interesting and fun experience. I managed to make new friends while out but also became closer to friends I knew from before. It was a very good experience, being away from the business of the city. I was able to relax and smile. Also i surprised myself with how much I spoke to people I had just met.

Seeing the Korean countryside was also a wonderful experience. After spending so much time in the city I sometimes forget how relaxing the countryside can be. Not only being able to meet many new people but also helping out the elders, though we did play quite a bit, was a amazing. Everyone was so welcoming, and it didn't matter that we were young or foreign. They treated us like we were their youngsters, teaching how to find things, pick fruit and even clean.

Overall it was a truly eyeopening experience that I hope to have again. I enjoy working with people from all over the world, in harmony, proving that no matter where we're from, we all have similarities.

IPYG : Blowing away Darkshade and Get happiness of Peace

As I heard that kind of mother's plea, I kicked the door of my house and ran away from home

Can you remember the time that we were always on smile?
We just wake-up, Shower, take a cloth, Eat some meal, Go to work, return home, Get drink,,
what a routine life we had! Maybe it will be boring.

In my childhood, I was dreamed of Peaceful land lived with a animal like Tiger and Lion
I imagined there will be love and full of joy flows over the wholeland.

As I've grown up, My expectation is fade away just like cloud-flowing at the sky.
Many Conflicts and wars exist all around the world.
I was totally Frustrated because I think there is no hope, no vision in this world.

However, I can get hope from a act of Peace organization called IPYG
IPYG always do the work relevant to Worldpeace.
They also held a event of Peacewalk at their area of activity.
Almost Peaople take part in Peacewalk,
I found that people walk in the common Peacewalk, they are not happy
They look a little bit tired.

But IPYG Peacewalk is different.
They looked well convicted, and Smiles always be on their lovely faces.
So I feel strong feeling of Peace, and spirit of darkshade cannot be on my beside.

I heard that IPYG always doing kind of Worldpeace.
What makes them so happy? I think there might be a certain answer to derive their awesome activity.
Oh, Wonderful Peace, I want to live with you at this era!
Please Show me the way like IPYG!

The Peace musician, Ludwig van Beethoven

The reason why I am writhing this because I would love to introduce to you
the great music, which make my heart beat fast and make me excited.  
I studied music as my major and I have played and taught the violin since I graduated the university.

The music which I want to introduce to you is Ludwig van Beethoven(1770~1827)'s "Symphony no. 9". This is the most popular and famous classic music, so it has been played by many people when close the year. It was made by adding ‘Ode to Joy’ on the solo and chorus part. It represents humanism and companionship with joy and peace so it has been received many love and attention.     
This 'The Ode to Joy' which include the equality of men and peace was written when Schiller was 26 years old in 1785. As soon as proclaimed this music, all German youth just felt in love with this music! Beethoven also agreed with the content and though so he made up his mind to compose music with this poem.
From that time, as Beethoven used that poem in his last number of Symphony,
He finally his long-cherished desire became true when he was 54 - just 3 years before he died.
At that time, it was big challenge to tried to put '4 soloist and 4 mixed-chorus'
But Beethoven made an attempt dramatically and the result was so great!
He got a standing ovation. This is considered the one of the greatest music work. 
In the poem of Schiller, there are many word of 'WORLD' ,
it means that Schiller and Beethoven all loved Peace!!  
The reason why this music still have a eternal life force is that people desire for the freedom and world peace.
This music was listed in UNESCO's Memory of the World Register,
Especially Symphony no. 4 which included “Ode to joy” use as an official song of UN.
People like Napoleon and Hitler failed to conquer the world but Beethoven could conquer the world by the name of Peace through the one music. 
Just like the same with this twenty-first century. Look at this world!
How many people have been sacrificed under the name of peace and freedom?
Did they get any compensation for the loss of their lives?
Does the world get better? I don't think that.
All people from all over the world still want peace.
But there are still too many conflicts and wars bloodstained.
Now we should achieve world peace by approaching from different way.
Not as force but as peaceful way like what Beethoven did.

IPYG : Bring the hope for Peace through action

In the world today, there are countless numbers of organizations that hope for peace.
Although we proclaimed peace with our voices,
this dream has not yet become a reality and this cry for peace continues.
We often things about and wonder WHY we fight and for WHAT we fight about.
Is it lack of love?  Or because there is too much greed within me? 
There are endless questions, but no answers.
I came across the youth organization IPYG unexpectedly.
Through the internet,
I saw a video clip of a vast number of young, hungry for peace, holding pickets while shouting their desire for the end of wars.
What is this peace that has brought together these youth onto the streets to express their genuine longing for peace
As I observed the youth crying out "World Peace!", "No more wars!" on the top of their lungs, I saw pure and child-like hearts- so innocent and simple-hearted.
A burst of hope came upon me as I witnessed the beautiful image that day
As I researched into the organization,
I discovered that IPYG was an international peace youth group.
In my memory, IPYG is an organization with the purpose of putting an end to all the wars in the world and whose members sincerely desire a world that is united as one.
I was convicted.

Every time IPYG shouts for world peace, the darkness in the world is covered by bright light that comes from the hope of the youth.
If all the people in the world become one and shout for peace, we become a member of IPYG.
Whoever loves peace loves IPYG, and by receiving the message that IPYG proclaims is a sign that we are one with the organization.
IPYG, who truly loves and desires peace, works to bring the whole world together.
It is my hope that you will also join and become a worker for true peace.
